The colours and why you don't get on with this person in your family or team member


Colours of Success

Get a sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle top to bottom and
in the middle of the paper left to right draw a line.

You should now have the paper divided into four equal sections

On the top centre print OPEN and on the bottom centre print SELF CONTAINED and
in the middle of the paper on the left hand side print INDIRECT and
in the middle of the paper on the right hand side print DIRECT

Ok let’s go ahead and check that.

On the top centre print OPEN and on the bottom centre print SELF CONTAINED and
in the middle of the paper on the left hand side print INDIRECT and
in the middle of the paper on the right hand side print DIRECT

Now on the top left hand side of the paper print 35% and in the centre of this section print Yellow.
The Yellow personality is open and indirect with their feelings.

Now on the top right hand side of the paper print 15% and in the centre of this section print Blue.
The Blue personality is open like the Yellow and direct with their feelings.

Now on the bottom left hand side of the paper print 35% and in the centre of this section print Green.
The Green personality is indirect like the Yellow and self contained with their feelings.

Now on the bottom right hand side of the paper print 15% and in the bottom centre of this section print Red.
The Red personality is self contained like the Green and direct with their feelings.

The first colour we are going talk about is yellow.

They make up 35% of the population and they are open and direct with their feelings.

They are the best at using both sides of their brain.

They are creative, strong on relationships but also logical analytical

If the yellow were an animal, they would be a koala bear, bambi or a turtle.

If you were to go driving with a yellow you will know right away because they are the
safest drivers on the planet, because the never break the law, and if the could,
they would have safe driving on their driving licence.
Their motto is “Lets be Friends.” Let’s work as a team.

If you were to go shopping with a yellow

You would find that shopping is an event even with no money;
they will buy for their friends before they will buy for themselves.

Their voice is soft and gentle.

How do you recognise a yellow on the telephone?

The phone script you are about to hear has over 90% success rate of people saying yes
“I am looking for a way to make extra income from home.”

In the short 2-3 minutes you have been listening to Linda you have
determined that her primary colour is a yellow.

Now is the time you better know the dislikes of a yellow.

They don’t like pushy, aggressive people, or bullies or any kind of animal cruelty
This is a person you see on the side of the road picking up dog, cat or turtle and
they will find a home even if it’s in their own home.
Yellows don’t mind change but they do not like sudden change.
You are not going to sell them or close them or get them in your deal tonight.

What are the strengths of the yellows?

Why do you want them in your business?
These are awesome people because they are the best listeners.
They are dependable.
They are easy to get along with.
They are a team player.
They are the most patient.
They are great at support and they are natural born nurturers.

Over time as you build your network marketing business, you will become a mentor to your people

And more important than the strengths you will need to know the
weaknesses of the yellow to mentor them

What are the weaknesses of the yellow?

First they are over sensitive.
They take things personally.
They will buy other peoples excuses.
The best mentoring that you can do for a yellow is to tell them the coffee story

And let me give that to you

Lets say you were had stopped down at my house and we went to breakfast in the morning,
me and my partner and you and your partner went into the restaurant the waitress is probably
going to ask “Would like some coffee?” now myself personally I don’t like coffee in restaurants

Now here’s the point when the waitress ask all four if we’ve like coffee, three people said sure
I’d like coffee but me, myself said no I wouldn’t like coffee maybe a cup of tea would be fine,
ok, now the waitress doesn’t take it personally that I said no to her that she’s a bad person,
that she’s stupid for asking me for coffee, all I said no to her, was her opportunity not her.
Maybe in five or ten year’s time I’ll acquire a taste for coffee in a restaurant, at that time I
would be a prospect for her. It’s just that simple.

The Yellow take things personally, they are over sensitive and they buy other people’s excuses,
so know that when you are working with the Yellow you will change their lives if you will give
them that little bit of coaching and mentoring.

Ok, how do you visually recognised a Yellow on the street or in their office?

First of all they have always got a big warm smile,
they got causal clothes,
Birkenstock sandals,
pictures of family,
ocean scenes or animals,
and these are comfortable people.
These people walk at a relaxed, slower pace.
Their handshake is warm and soft.

How about if you go to a restaurant with a Yellow,
they will have whatever you have,
they eat at a slower pace,
everything they do is at a relaxed pace.

Now what kind of
keywords would be in an email or a letter from a Yellow?

They will have things like, feel, together, teamwork, family run business, how can they help you?

How can you sponsor a Yellow into your business?

First of all, build a strong relationship and never ever focus on the money with a Yellow.
Show them your teams and system. Talk about your family to them.
Never ever, ever close a Yellow. Give them powerful testimonials about the products
that you are taking or using.

Remember the only thing the prospect is thinking is

“Can I do this” and “Can you help me”

What kind of compensation plan works best for the Yellow and

Because the Yellow is nurturer, they have to have a compensation plan that they can put people
under people, under people.
A 3x10 matrix would work well for these Yellow.
But not if it stops paying them at the 10th level.

The nurturer needs a plan that pays them no matter how deep they sponsor someone.
Remember people under people.

What compensation plan is the kiss of death for the Yellow?

Any plan that goes wide, wide, wide, wide, not paying you to build dept in your pay line,
a stair step break away plan will never work for the
yellow.
